Saint Gregory Palamas Orthodox Church
Our Current Church
Christianity has always had humble beginning's throughout its existence. Even from the start, when our Lord, the King of Creation, Jesus Christ, was born in a manger, it showed us the humbleness and humility needed to walk the Way of Christ. Jesus also taught that that the church is not the building. The people are the real church, they are the very body of Christ. The church building only facilitates a place for the church body to meet, pray, and worship. (Acts 20:28, Eph 2:19-22)
Fr. Steven with the parishioners have started a humble beginning of St. Gregory Palamas Orthodox Church.
Fr. Steven and wife Papadia Patricia Bookvich have volunteered the use of their home and have installed a small chapel within their living room and dining room area.
The parish and Fr. Steven have faith that by leading a prayerful life, God will guide them to the way of obtaining the church and land of their vision. We welcome all people interested in Orthodoxy to join us in the beginning stages of building this new Christian Orthodox community, the people of Christ's Way in Light, Spirit and Love, maintaining for the past 2000 years until today. Amen.
